Can you not major in something, and then minor in a different field?
Because.. I am unsure of exactly what i want to do, but I have two different careers in mind. |

Ivy Tech does not have minors, but certain majors allow you to concentrate in different areas. For example, the Computer Information Systems major for the AAS degree has several concentrations, including Database Management and Programmer/Analyst. Students may pursue two majors at the same time; for example you might be pursuing an AAS in Accounting and an AS in Liberal Arts.
Each campus has advisors who can go over the various options for majors and can also help you decide on your career goals. There are a lot of resources at Ivy Tech; please take advantage of them so that you are confident of your career and educational goals. |

Thanks so much.
I'm just not sure what i want to do, there's a HUGE stretch. I want to do law enforcement, but I'd also like to be a photographer.
So I'm thinking.. maybe.. start off with criminal justice and just do photography as a side career, but go to school for it after i finish the schooling for criminal justice. |
