Have any one taken this course online if so I just want to know what to expect. And is it a very good idea to take it online?

I took it online over the summer. Each week there was a discussion board posting and reply due as well as a quiz for each chapter. In addition to those there were three 2-3 page papers to write on which there were about 10 different topics to choose from, and one 6-7 page paper about how sociology has applied in your own life. For me personally it was better to take it online because I hate public speaking and I originally enrolled to take it in person but on the first day the teacher told us we were going to have to give an oral presentation so I immediately withdrew and enrolled in an online class.

You take the tests online, you don't have to go to a proctored center.

I'm taking it online right now, it's pretty easy.

There weren't any tests for my class. Just the quizzes for each chapter that were taken online at home. They didn't require proctor either.
